The African American Health Coalition (AfAHC) is collaborating with Texas A&M University to host a training for health educators on TAMU’s Family Health History Program, which utilizes CDC’s Family Health History tool. The program is designed to 1) increase the practice of family health history education with clients, and 2) increase understanding the importance of knowing family health history & communicating that information to health care providers. Each person who completes this three-hour training will receive a $25 gift card after training is completed.
The Family Health History training will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 9am to 12pm at Gateway to Care (3015 Richmond; Houston, TX 77098).
